Dancing for fun, whether it’s Standard, Latin American, Australian New Vogue or any other dance, is more popular than ever. People enjoy the music, meeting others, having a chat - and dancing. It's just like going to a club - with a difference: We dance in two's. This is social dancing, capturing the social graces.
It’s relaxing - for a few hours you’re completely away from your cares in life. You listen to wonderful music, you’re in the company of friends, and there is the joy of moving to music, and of learning to do the intricate and lovely, or passionate and energetic, dance steps. Through dancing you can express your joy of being alive. You each have your role: the man is strong and graceful, and leads the girl to look and move beautifully.
You don’t have to be expert dancer to look good on the dance floor. Have lessons and join the group lessons - they are fun. But just join in. Soon you realise that you can do dances and steps you couldn’t do before.
Remember, dancing gives you fun, fitness, friends. Discover the vast selection of good quality dance music, the beautiful sounds produced on the sound systems, and the pleasure of the memories it can all give. Moving to music is natural and therapeutic. Get healthy! Get happy!! Get dancing!!! Dancing is fun, dancing keeps you fit and dancing gives self-confidence! All are welcome!!!!
